AS WOMEN COMMISSIONED OFFICERS
1.Applications are invited of female candidates in the fields of Instructional/Staff Appointments for Grant of Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) in the Army. The candidates must be qualified from reputed local/foreign universities/institutions recognized by PEC/HEC and must fulfill the following criteria and eligibility conditions:-

C. Direct Short Service Commission in Army Service Corps (ASC) as Captain.
i. MBA HRM
ii. MBA Finance
(With Minimum 1st Division/CGPA-3.0)
D.Direct Short Service Commission in Army Corps of Signals as Captain.
i. MS in Telecommunication Engineering
ii. Software Engineering
iii. Information Security
(Minimum 1st Division/CGPA3.0 through out the career)
OR
MBA (IT) with background (Bachelor) of Computer Science / Telecommunication Engineering / Software Engineering from any HEC/PEC recognized or a foreign university.
E. Direct Short Service Commission in Army Education Corps as Captain
i. MA/MSc 1st Division in any one of following subjects :-
1. Economics 2. History
ii. M.Phil/Ph.D will be given preference and seniority in accordance with the rule.
iii. Age relaxation/Ante Date Seniority can be granted in individual cases having higher qualification/ experience.
F. Direct Short Service Commission as Computer Scientific Officer (CSO)
i. BE Software Engineering
ii. BE Computer Engineering
iii. BE Telecommunication Engineering
iv. BE Electrical/Electronics
G. Direct Short Service Commission in Ordnance Corps as Captain
MSc Chemistry with minimum 1st Division / CGPA-3.0.
MPhil/Ph.d Candidate will be given preference and seniority in accordance with the rule.
ii. M.Phil/Ph.D will be given preference and seniority in accordance with the rule.
28 Years as on 26 August 2008 (Relaxable upto 35 Years in individual cases having higher qualification)

Unmarried.

5 Feet and 2 inches
4. NATIONALITY
a. Female citizens of Pakistan/Azad Kashmir Nationals and state subject of class-I.
b. Pakistani candidates having dual nationality will initiate the process for renunciation of their foreign nationality and will give an undertaking before joining the Army that they will complete the procedure for renunciation of their foreign nationality before completion of their training.
c. Those failing to renounce their foreign nationality or do not complete the procedure will not be granted commission. Additionally they will be liable to pay the training charges/bond money and will be released from the Army.
5. INELIGIBILITY
Following are ineligible to apply: -
a. Already screened out or rejected twice by Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB)/General Headquarters (GHQ)/Naval Headquarters (NHQ)/Air Headquarters (AHQ) Selection Boards for any type of commission in the Armed Forces. (Candidates rejected twice by ISSB for under Graduate courses are eligible for third chance if they have attained post graduate degrees).
b. Previously declared medically unfit by an Appeal Medical Board/Combined Medical Board (CMB for only pilot in Army Aviation) for Army, Navy, PAF.
c. Released or discharged or withdrawn from the Armed Forces or any of its training establishments on grounds of inefficiency or indiscipline.
d. Convicted by Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude.
6. SELECTION PROCEDURE
a. ONLINE Registration through internet/AS&RCs with effect from 11 Aug to 15 Aug 2008.
b. Candidates can also register themselves before conduct of examination on 19 – 27 August at following AS&RCs (less Gilgit):-

e. All candidates will deposit their particulars on Printed Form PAFY-2023 obtained from the Recruitment Centre alongwith following document after registration:-
i.Three attested copies of passport size photographs.
ii.2 x attested photocopies of each educational certificate/diploma.
iii.2 x Photocopies of National Identity Card issued by NADRA.
iv.Rs. 200/- in cash and postal order of Rs. 100/- in favour of Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA), GHQ Rawalpindi. Pay Order/Bank Draft will not be accepted.
v.Candidates serving in Government Institutions/Departments will render no objection certificate from the concerned Establishment alongwith the documents listed above.
vi.Candidates must take along their Original Certificates/Degree on the day of examination to the Recruitment Centres.
f. Candidates qualifying in preliminary selection shall under-go ISSB tests. Separate calls letters shall be issued to the candidates for the purpose.
g. Candidates declared successful by the ISSB shall be put through medical examination at Military Hospitals closer their home stations.
h. Merit list of all successful candidates who are declared medically fit shall be prep. Final selection shall be made by the GHQ on the basis of over all performance of candidates.
7. PRIVATE COACHING TRAINING CENTRES FOR ISSB TESTS.. According to the existing rules pre ISSB training cannot be imparted by any individual or private coaching centre, GHQ PA Directorate denies any link with such illegal & unethical training establishments throughout the country. Any candidate found trained/coached by any private coaching centre will not be recommended.
8. BOND. Selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army for a minimum period of 7 years. The applicability of bond will commence on successful completion of Basic Military Training (BMT).
9. BASIC MILITRY TRAINING. Selected candidates will undergo six months basic military training at PMA Kakul.
10. GRANT OF COMMISSION. On Successful completion of BMT at PMA Kakul, Candidates will be granted commission in the Army.
11. PREVIOUS TESTS. Unsuccessful candidates of previous selection schedules can also apply subject to fulfilling eligibility conditions listed above.
